License
What a Bytechap store license allows, what it does not, and how refunds work.

Every product in the store is sold with its complete source code. The license you buy is shown on the product page and at checkout, and the full license text is included in the download.
Standard license
A purchase grants one buyer a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to modify and use the source in one production deployment for the buyer or one named client. Development, testing and staging copies of that deployment are allowed.
Extended license
Products that offer it (WorkBento and DocBento) also sell an Extended license. It includes everything in the Standard license, plus multiple production installations for your own businesses or your clients, each with a separate installation and database. The full commercial license included with the download sets out the details.
Allowed
- Modify the product for the licensed deployment.
- Use the deployed product commercially.
- Give employees and contractors access only as needed to build and run the licensed deployment.
Not allowed
- Resell, sublicense, publish, share or redistribute the source code.
- Place the source code in a public repository.
- Turn the source or a substantially similar derivative into a competing source-code product.
- Run one installation as a shared service for unrelated organizations.
Third-party packages keep their own licenses.
BandBridge
BandBridge is sold as an AGPL-3.0-only source package. The AGPL-3.0 terms included with it apply instead of the license above.
Refunds
Source code can be copied as soon as it is downloaded, so sales are final; please try the live demo or read the documentation first. We will fix or refund a duplicate purchase, a corrupted or inaccessible download, or an advertised feature that we cannot provide or repair, when you tell us within 14 days of purchase. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
Warranty
The software is provided as is, without warranties. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the product.
